These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry/claim instructions are deemed to form part of the terms and conditions and by participating all claimants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions. Please retain a copy of these terms and conditions for your information.
1. Promoter: Tesco Stores Ltd., Tesco House, Shire Park, Kestrel Way, Welwyn Garden City, AL7 1GA.
2. Who can enter: This prize promotion (‘Promotion’) is open to all UK residents (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) aged 18 or over, that are Tesco Clubcard members except for anyone directly connected with the planning or administration of the prize promotion including Tesco employees, their agencies and their immediate families (spouse, parent, child, sibling, grandparent and/or ‘step’ family).
3. Internet access and a Tesco Clubcard account are required for entry.
4. Participants are reminded to get the owner's permission before using a computer, device and/or internet-access which is not owned or paid for by the entrant to enter the Promotion. The Promoter will not be liable for any internet or mobile connection, or other charges incurred in entering the Promotion.
5. Promotion appears cross media with one shared prize pool.
6. Promotional Period: The Promotional Period is from 00:00 on 27th November 2023 and closes at 23:59 on 17th December 2023.
7. There are three (3) weekly draw periods in total ‘Weekly Draw Period’:
Week 1: Opens 00:00 27th November 2023 and closes on 23:59 3rd December 2023 (‘Week 1 Closing date’).
Week 2: Opens 00:00 4th December 2023 and closes on 23:59 10th December 2023 (‘Week 2 Closing date’).
Week 3: Opens 00:00 11th December 2023 and closes on 17th December 2023 (‘Week 3 Closing date’).
8. How to enter:
a.Make a purchase (£1 minimum) in a Tesco store, scan your Clubcard and ask for a receipt.
Or make a purchase online (includes Click & Collect, and Whoosh), use your Clubcard and retain your online delivery receipt email.
Whoosh minimum spend is £15, or order is subject to a £2 basket charge.
Online minimum spend is £50, or order is subject to a £5 basket charge.
Click and Collect minimum spend is £25, or order is subject to a £5 basket charge.
All deliveries are subject to availability.
b. Purchase exclusions: tobacco and tobacco related products, lottery products, stamps, prescription medicines, infant formulae milk, Tesco gift cards, 3rd party gift cards, saving stamps, in-store concessions and Paypoint payments. Beer, wine and spirit purchases in NI are excluded.
c. RETAIN YOUR IN-STORE PURCHASE RECEIPT OR YOUR DELIVERY RECEIPT EMAIL RECEIVED ON DAY OF DELIVERY UNTIL 4.1.2024.

e. Input your full name, door number and postcode, and your active email address and mobile phone number.
f. Upload your instore purchase receipt, your online delivery receipt email, your Click & Collect collection receipt, or your Whoosh delivery receipt email. Show your date of purchase, purchase total and Clubcard points.
g. You can enter once per Weekly Draw Period. If you enter more than once, your first entry will be accepted, and all others will be disqualified.
h. Each weekly entry must have an in-store purchase receipt, an online delivery receipt email, a Click & Collect collection receipt, or Whoosh delivery receipt email for a date within the corresponding Weekly Draw Period.
i. Weekly entries are not carried over into the next Weekly Draw Period.
j. Incomplete, illegal, misdirected or late entries will not be accepted. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of delivery or receipt. The Promoter takes no responsibility for entries that are delayed, incomplete or lost due to technical reasons or otherwise.
k. A receipt can only be used once per household. A receipt cannot be shared amongst entrants.
l. Bulk entries made from trade, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. Incomplete or illegible entries or via third parties or syndicates, entries by macros or other automated means and entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these terms and conditions in full will be disqualified. If it becomes apparent that an entrant is using a computer(s) or multiple aliases to circumvent this condition by, for example, the use of ‘script’, ‘brute force’, masking their identity by manipulating IP addresses, using multiple email address and accounts, sharing receipts, falsifying receipts, using identities other than their own or any other automated means to increase that entrant’s entries into the Promotion in a way that is not consistent with the spirit of the Promotion, that person’s entries will be disqualified, and any award will be void.
9. Online Delivery and Click and Collect:
a. Online delivery slots, Click and Collect slots, and Whoosh delivery slots are all subject to availability.
b. Online minimum spend is £50, or order is subject to a £5 basket charge.
c. Click and Collect minimum spend is £25, or order is subject to a £5 basket charge.
d. Whoosh minimum spend is £15, or order is subject to a £2 basket charge

10. Winner Selection:
a. Entries received within each Weekly Draw Period and by the Weekly Closing Date will be placed in a random prize draw for that week (‘Weekly Draw’).
b. Each Weekly Draw will take place within 5 working days of the respective Weekly Closing Date.
c. Week 1: 668 winners (‘Weekly Winners’) randomly selected from entries received during the Week 1 Weekly Draw Period (00:00 27th November 2023 - 23:59 3rd December 2023)
d. Week 2: 666 winners randomly selected from entries receiving during the Week 2 Draw Period (00:00 4th December 2023 - 23:59 10th December 2023)
e. Week 3: 666 winners randomly selected from entries received during the Weekly Draw Period (00:00 11th December 2023 - 17th December 2023).
f. Only entries which meet the entry requirements and have uploaded a valid in-store receipt or online delivery receipt email that corresponds with the Weekly Draw Period will be eligible to win a prize.
11. Winner Notification: Weekly Winners will be notified by email, to the active email address inputted at the point of entry, within 5 working days of each Weekly Draw.
12. Winner Claim:
a. Each winner will have 10 days to claim their prize by clicking on the link within the email and accepting the prize.
b. Winners who do not respond within 5 days, will be emailed again or sent a text message and given a further 5 days to respond. If contact cannot be made, or the prize is not claimed, within 10 days of the initial prize notification date, prize entitlement will be withdrawn, and the prize allocated to a runner up drawn at the same time as the original.
c. It is the responsibility of entrants to provide their correct, up-to-date details when entering the Prize Promotion. The Promoter cannot be held responsible for winners failing to supply accurate information which affects prize arrangements.
13. The Prize and Prize Fulfilment:
a. Each winner receives 2 x £250 Tesco e-gift cards. In-store redemption only. Email address required to receive prize.
b. E-gift card can be used in any UK Tesco store. The e-gift card cannot be used online or at a Tesco petrol station. The e-gift card and balance will expire five years from purchase or last card use.
c. Prize will be emailed to winners within 10 working days of prize claim.
d. Any prizes claimed after 21st December 2023 (where applicable for a Weekly Draw) will be fulfilled between 4th – 10th January 2024.
e. The prize is as stated. It is not transferrable and there is no alternative prizing in whole or in part.
f. If a winner is not able for whatever reason to accept their prize, then the Promoter reserves the right to award that prize, if there are enough qualifying entries, to a runner up chosen at the same time as the original.
14. Data Protection:
As part of the promotion, we collect the following personal data: full name, door numbers, postcode, email address, mobile phone number, and also surname and county for the winners for the purpose of providing a winner list as indicated in clause 15j. These details are requested for administering the promotion only. 15. General
a. The Promoter reserves the right at any time, in its absolute discretion, to: verify the eligibility of any entrant or winner by requesting proof of identity and/or address; proof of Clubcard membership, proof of purchase disqualify any entrant or winner found to be abusing or tampering with the operation of the Promotion or entering using fraudulent means, or who the Promoter believes to have acted in breach of these terms and conditions or the spirit of the Promotion; disqualify entrants who make an entry on someone else's behalf; disqualify an entrant if they are found to be in breach of clause 8.
b. Where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions prize entitlement will be withdrawn, and if there are enough qualifying entries, awarded to a runner up chosen at the same time as the original.
c. To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither the Promoter nor agencies involved with this promotion may be liable to the winners, whether arising from tort including negligence, breach of contract or otherwise for any loss or damage whatsoever caused by matters relating to participation in this promotion, or in relation to the award to the extent permissible by law. No compensation for loss of earnings will be paid by the Promoter for participation in any aspect of this promotion.
d. The Promoter reserves the right in its absolute discretion to add or to waive any of these terms and conditions, or to suspend or cancel the promotion at any stage, in the event of circumstances that are unforeseen or beyond its reasonable control (including suspected or actual fraudulent or misleading practices or other breaches of these terms and conditions) with no recompense to entrants.
e. In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this promotion or the awarding of the prizing, and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion or these terms and conditions at any stage, but will always endeavour to minimize the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.
f. Any decision of the Promoter in respect of the Promotion is final and binding in all promotional matters. No correspondence will be entered into.
g. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for system errors or other issues that may result in disruption to, lost, delayed or not received entries, winner notifications or awards. The Promoter or its agencies will not be responsible for the non-inclusion of entries as a result of technical failures or otherwise, including any such failure which is within the control of The Promoter or its agencies.
h. Winners may be asked to take part in reasonable publicity relating to this Promotion without payment. Such publicity may include, without limitation, publishing the winner’s name and any statements made by them concerning the Promotion and the prize won as part of the Promotion on Tesco’s social media channels and via other third-party mainstream media or broadcast channels.
i. Any unclaimed prizes will be allocated to runners up drawn at the same time as the originals on 11th January 2024.
j. The surname and county of winners will be made available to anyone who requests it by emailing hello@help.tescowinyourchristmasshop.com by 11th January 2024. Entrants may request their surname and county is not published in the event they win by emailing hello@help.tescowinyourchristmasshop.com before the closing date. However, the Promoter shall provide the surname and county of the winner to competent authorities upon request from such competent authorities (including the Advertising Standards Authority).
k. The laws of England and Wales apply to this promotion, and the English and Welsh courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any proceedings in connection with this promotion.
l. If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these Terms and Conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
How long is the Tesco Win Your Christmas shop prize draw running?
The prize promotion opens at 12am on 27 November 2023 and closes at 11:59pm on 17 December 2023. There is one prize draw each week, for 3 weeks.
The weekly draw periods are:
Week 1: Opens 12am, 27 November 2023 and closes at 11:59pm, 3 December 2023.
Week 2: Opens 12am, 4 December 2023 and closes at 11:59pm, 10 December 2023.
Week 3: Opens 12am, 11 December 2023 and closes on 17 December 2023.
Who can enter and how old do I need to be?

How do I enter the Tesco ‘Win your Christmas shop' prize draw

Enter your full name, door number, postcode, email address and mobile number.
Then, upload either your in-store receipt, or your delivery receipt email.
Make sure your Clubcard points, date of purchase and purchase total are visible.
How many times can I enter the prize draw?
You can enter once a week. Only one entry per week, per person, will be accepted.
Each entry must be accompanied by a different purchase receipt, or delivery receipt email that falls within the weekly draw period.
To be clear, an online order, Whoosh order or Click+Collect order must be delivered or collected during the weekly draw period.
I don't live in the UK, can I still enter?
Unfortunately, if you do not live in the UK, you cannot enter the prize draw. Tesco ‘Win your Christmas shop' is only available to people living in England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
Why do you need my details?
If you're a lucky winner, we will contact you via the email address that you provided with further details about how to claim your prize. We can only send and receive emails to and from the address given at the point of entry. Winners will also be sent their prize to the email address used at the point of entry.
Please be careful when entering your contact details. If your details are incorrect, we won't be able to contact you about the prize draw.
What happens to the details I provide?
The information you provide is stored securely and only used by our third-party suppliers for the purpose of this promotion, and for prize fulfilment.

Prizes
What prizes are you giving away?
We are giving away 1x £250 Tesco e-gift card to each winner, plus another £250 Tesco e-gift card for each winner to share with a friend, family member or charity of their choice. The Tesco e-gift card is for in-store redemption only.
In total, there are 2,000 prize winners.
There will be 668 winners for week 1; 666 winners for week 2; 666 winners for week 3 draw.
How are the prizes won?
Winners will be drawn each week, by a random computer generator, from all eligible entries received within that weekly draw period. Each draw will take place withing 5 working days of each weekly draw closing date.
Entries are not carried into the following week, so to be in each weekly draw, remember to enter once a week. And each weekly entry must be accompanied by an in-store receipt, or an online delivery receipt email within that weekly draw period.
How will you notify me if I win a prize?
If you are one of our lucky winners, you will receive an email asking you to click a link to claim your prize.
Each winner has 10 days to claim their prize. If we don't hear from a winner within the first 5 days, we'll make contact again to remind them to make the claim. If we don't hear back from a winner within 10 days, the prize will be redrawn and allocated to a new winner.
So, remember to keep an eye on your email inbox, and check your junk folder during the prize draw period in case you are a lucky winner.
How many times can I win?
A household can only win one prize in total.
If I am a winner, when will I receive my prize?
The Tesco e-gift cards will be sent via 2 separate emails to each winner within 10 days of their prize claim. Anyone that claims after 21 December 2023, however, will receive their prize between 4-10 December 2024.
Where can I use the Tesco e-gift card?
The Tesco e-gift card can be used for purchases in a Tesco store in the UK - it cannot be redeemed online or at a Tesco petrol station. You can use the Tesco e-gift card for full or part-payment towards any products sold within a Tesco store whilst the e-gift card is valid. The e-gift card is valid for period of 5 years from the date it was activated or your last transaction, whichever is later.
