If you're struggling for lunch inspo this week, McDonald's has you covered as the fast food giant is giving away free spicy veggie wraps through its app.

The offer is open to anyone and everyone - as long as you have the app on your phone - and is running all week (from Monday, 13th May to midnight on Friday, 17th May), to coincide with National Vegetarian Week.

Those who take advantage of the freebie will be able to enjoy the wrap filled with red pesto veggie goujons with spicy relish, tomato, lettuce and red onion, nestled in a soft, toasted tortilla wrap.

The goujons are made from yellow split peas, tomato, Arborio rice, sundried tomato pesto, tomato paste, red pepper, olive oil and herbs.

To grab yourself a free lunch (which would normally be priced at £3.49) all you need to do is download the McDonald's app and place your order.

McDonald's spicy veggie wrap offer is listed under 'Deals' at the bottom of the screen - tap 'claim' and add to your mobile order.

The spicy veggie wrap will then be available to pick up from your nearest McDonald's. You can ensure that branch is taking part in the offer under 'participating restaurants'.

The offer is open to new and existing customers who have the app, so don't worry if you are just downloading it now or if it's already on your phone.

There's no need to buy anything else but you'll only be able to use the deal once this week and you will also need to be over 16. The vegetarian wrap is also only available to order after 10.30am.

McDonald's expanded its vegetarian offerings in January with the launch of the new spicy veggie wrap alongside a Happy Meal version for children.

The veggie wrap's ingredients are dairy-free and vegan-friendly, however but the wraps themselves pass through the same toaster as the chain's buns, which contain milk, so McDonald's labels it as vegetarian.

Does it honestly get much better than free lunch?
