This latest accolade, according to new polling data from YouGov, comes after Aldi has also been named the UK’s Cheapest Supermarket for every month of the year so far by Which?, having won Cheapest Supermarket of the Year in 2023, 2022 and 2021.

In the latest comparison, Aldi was a huge £32.60 cheaper than the most expensive supermarket, Waitrose, for an equivalent list of shopping items.
