Bluebells in the early morning sun at Badbury Clump, on the Buscot and Coleshill Estates, Oxfordshire.

We’ve teamed up with the National Trust to give you the chance to join the fight against climate change by helping us plant trees for free on a National Trust estate while dedicating a tree to a friend or loved one. The National Trust aim to plant and establish 20 million trees by 2030, and by dedicating your tree today you’ll help fulfil this goal!

You’ll also receive a PDF certificate confirming your contribution which can be given to the person you have dedicated this tree to as a keepsake.

There are five beautiful National Trust estates to choose from around the country to have your tree planted: the Quarry Bank in Cheshire, the Wimpole Estate in Cambridgeshire, the Hardwick Hall estate in Derbyshire, along the beautiful Exmoor coast or in the famous Welsh Nant Ffrancon valley.

So don’t miss out, help the National Trust plant and establish native, British trees and help tackle climate change while making a great home for nature and keeping our heritage areas beautiful by dedicating your tree today.

This offer provides the reader with a tree dedicated to them or the person they choose which is planted on a National Trust estate by the National Trust. Please read full terms and conditions below.

Terms and Conditions

1. Offer closes on Friday November 12, 2021 or when all 25,000 trees have been dedicated, whichever is soonest.

2. 25,000 National Trust trees are available on a first come first served basis- these trees will be planted on the readers’ behalf in the National Trust location selected. All trees remain the property of the National Trust for preservation purposes, however the dedication of the tree as outlined in the PDF certificate has been claimed by the reader. Exact tree locations on each estate cannot be provided and normal visiting terms and conditions of the National Trust apply for each location.

3. The offer closes at 5pm on Friday November 12, 2021, subject to availability. If the 25,000 trees have been redeemed before the closing date, you will see a message in the form box above these terms to notify you that this promotion is no longer available. Applications received after this date will not be accepted.

4. Each reader who redeems this promotion will receive a PDF certificate via the email address provided on the submission form certified by the National Trust confirming their tree dedication with a space to write the name of a friend or loved one if you wish.

5. Although every effort will be made to plant your tree at your desired location with current demand, there may be the need to divert trees to another location for environmental reasons (such as flooding, drought or soil issues). However your dedicated tree will find a home within a National trust estate where it will be given every care to thrive. 6. Trees will not be ‘tagged’ with identifiable information. Due to the scale of tree planting required it is not possible to match dedications to specific trees or to ‘tag’ trees with memorial plaques, which is why we have created the digital certificate that can be shared with your loved ones.

7. Trees dedicated through this offer will be planted between January – April 2022 in line with staff capacity, weather conditions and requirements.
