Installs printer software on PC, then tries to print without giving you the option of which printer to use. Tried to send it to a photo printer, which failed because the paper size didn’t match. When trying to reprint (having setup a useable default printer), then states no coupons printed, as says already been printed. Utter con.

    • Hello David,

Could this be a printer issue on your end? Everyone in our office has managed to print the voucher with no problems.

      Best wishes.

The issue is that the software doesn’t give you an option of what printer to use. My default printer was a photo printer with 6inch x 4inch paper in it. The printer therefore wouldn’t print it, as the paper size was too small for the coupon being sent to it. I tried changing the default printer, but the print program wouldn’t resend it, as it believes it had already been printed. I can understand that you don’t want people printing multiple copies of the coupon, but you need to either warn people to either ensure the correct printer is set as default, or put an option in your program to allow a printer to be selected.

        • Hello David,

Sorry for your frustration. We didn’t create or choose the printer programme. LatestFreeStuff doesn’t offer any coupons or freebies directly; we simply link to websites that do. This particular freebie is run by New Covent Garden Soup. Unfortunately we have no control over how it functions.

We have taken on your suggestion and added some copy to our post, warning people to check which printer is set to default.

And just FYI, we’re all for people printing of multiple coupons! We wish brands made it easier to do.

          Thanks.
