John Lewis are giving away FREE fabric samples on their website. Simply choose the fabrics you'd like to try to your basket and add your postal details.
Click 'GET FREEBIE' to see the fabric samples on offer. When you see a pattern you like, click the 'free swatch' button underneath the fabric. You can select up to 5 different patterns to try. Once you've picked your 5, click the 'order swatches' button at the top right-hand side of the page. Then, enter your postal details to be sent your samples.
There are loads of pretty floral patterns, children's designs and PVC fabrics to choose from. Click which one you'd like to browse on the 'make it yours' grey banner. We've found that the 'furnishing fabric' has the most choice. You should receive your samples within 5 days. The sample sizes are usually A4 sizes, which means you'll have plenty of fabric to make purses and bags.
