The UK is fantastic - no matter the time of year, or the season’s accompanying weather, there’s always a bunch of free events going on. So, to help stave off your boredom, we’ve collated what we think are the biggest and best free events around the UK:
Deliveroo's World of Food Festival, Manchester
Head over to this treat-for-the-tastebuds festival, where you can try food from eight of Deliveroo's best restaurants, for absolutely free! An excellent cheap day out for couples.
6th July 2019
Lambeth Country Show, London
Returning for it's 45th year, this Brockwell Park-based event has become something of a staple in any Brixtoner's summer. With fantastic music, reggae and otherwise, food, stalls and games, this is a wonderful weekend of fun for both children and adults.
20th - 21st July 2019
Notting Hill Carnival, London
Since the 60s, Notting Hill Carnival has been a melting pot of people from all over London, who've come together to celebrate Caribbean culture with music and dancing. There are acts on all day, with sound systems blasting tunes as well as floats of people boogie-ing their way through the crowds. Lots of fun, but very, very busy.
24th - 26th August 2019
Freedom Festival, Hull
As one of the UK's leading arts festivals, as well as being free, this is not one to be missed; attendees can expect art, music, theatre, spoken word poetry - oh, the list really does go on. You can get all of this, for absolutely nothing.
28th August - 1st September 2019
Camberwell Fair, London
Camberwell fair is open to all who fancy it, and in the past has seen acts such as Dawn Penn, Nubyian Twist and many more. There's plenty of delicious food to get your mitts on and feel free to BYOB!
31st August 2019
Hope you enjoy them!
